No, iJoomla SideBars was designed as a stand-alone component has some
enhancements and features not found in the SideBars used by iJoomla
Magazine. iJoomla SideBar added capabilities include:

Can I use iJoomla SideBars on the same pages that already have iJoomla Magazine SideBars?
Yes! Just make sure that you place the iJoomla SideBar tag lower than
the iJoomla Magazine SideBar tag; the magazine SideBar will always
