Allowing users to add your Joomla-based articles and Web pages to their list of favorites is a classic way of making your site easy to find, helping happy users to return and increasing your Google Page Rank.   The idea is simple. If only putting it into practice were so easy.

If you're looking for an Add To Favorites Module, you've really got two choices.

MyLinks, (available here) lets registered users store their favorite local links in a basket so that they can easily go back to the parts of your site they like the most. You need to install both the component so that you can handle the back-end management and the module so that users can see it.

The other option is the jh_Favorites (available here). This has some nice features beyond simply adding a page to a favorites list. It also checks whether the user has already added that page and tells the developer how many times a page has been added - a good measure of which topics your users like. Best of all, the link appears automatically at the end of each article, saving you the trouble of doing it yourself.

"Thanks for the excellent work you are doing, including the video tutorials. That shows dedication above and beyond. You really love what you are doing."

  • " I guarantee that, with a minimum of work, iJoomla will make you money as it has for me."

I am over the moon with my website. Made with iJoomla components including News Portal, iJoomla SEO, Ad Agency, and Speed Test.

I now have a website that is taking on our local newspaper and beating them. More people rely on my website for news than read the local newspaper.

Soon the newspaper will put a paywall on their website giving me even more readers.

My website is a one man band and returning a very healthy profit where a side banner costs NZ$1,000 + Tax. I currently have nearly 100 advertisers.

Merav, Alin and the team have been vitally important giving 100% support and more! They still answer questions years after I purchased items.

Now is the time to purchase some of these wonderful items and make yourself a wealthy person.

I guarantee that, with a minimum of work, iJoomla will make you money as it has for me.

  • "I find myself always coming back to iJoomla"

    Kelly Creamer

"I have implemented iJoomla Magazine, News & SEO for my clients and am about to buy Ad Agency for myself. I am also waiting with baited breath for iJoomla LMS.

In evaluating different Joomla components, there are so many options available, many of them free, yet, i find myself always coming back to iJoomla for 3 simple reasons:

    1. Perfection in usability: Joomla can be a big confusing mess. iJoomla components are well thought out, comprehensive and streamlined. They obviously take a lot of time to think through and test the usability, because their interfaces are always very clean, intuitive and easy to understand.
    2. Thorough documentation: With iJoomla, there is no need to go searching for documentation, only to find very cryptic, barely readable instructions. iJoomla embeds comprehensive documentation, hints and links to videos right in the admin interface so that users can directly access the information they need right at the moment they need it.
    3. Flexibility/CSS Neutrality: The iJoomla team is obviously very CSS savvy and has a thorough understanding of the Joomla template community. Unlike some Joomla components that build in ugly, unusable CSS code that is very difficult to change, iJoomla's components seem to be built in a way that mesh seamlessly with any template. When they do have built-in CSS, it is very easy to access and update.

I really need the LMS solution right away and almost purchased a different solution, but i know if i wait for the iJoomla LMS, it will be a better solution long term."
