I couldn't decide where to put this question as it applies both to News Portal and to Magazine, and its more of a pre-sales kind of question although I have already purchased both but haven't yet installed either.

My question is that in the article "difference between Ijoomla Magazine and News Portal" it indicates for both that for RSS they are a "no"...but what does that "no" mean?  I mean, Joomla itself has RSS ability -- that is still available, right?  So what exactly does the "no" mean for this?

Hi drdan01,
That "No", means that both extensions don´t include rss management. But both of them use RSS from Joomla.

Got it, thanks!  Guess that's one (or two) more reasons why I'll be anxiously waiting for the RSS extension to come out.  Features in the manual look pretty neat.
