I'm new to ijoomla newsportal and have installed as per instructions. However, I can not open the News Portal on the admin interface ie by clicking components and ijoomla news. It just goes to a blank page.

I should point out that my site is installed localy - http://localhost/joomla15

Any help would be gtreatly appreciated!!

I have the same problem and am also a new user. I would like to know what was discovered here.. where is the error ?
On my home page I have -home- if I change article type for that in menu to iJoomlaNews- newsportal -default, then I get error message, even though I have articles on section pages.
If I change the article type to article or front page blog 'type' I at least see the front page but not with any articles showing.
Also the read more links and article headings on article teasers in the section don't work. What should I do there?

If you have this error on your home page it could be because you have a problem with a plugin or a javascript problem. Could you grant me Joomla! backend access, I will take a look at your site in order to determine what is causing this error.
