I have just installed Sidebars with Rocket Theme's Voxel template.
The sidebar plugin causes a conflict with the RokSprocket Mosaic module layout and prevents filtering of stories by category using the Ajax feature.
Just thought I would let everybody know as it's taken me two days to identify the problem. :(

Have you tried older Rocket themes/templates with sidebars-do they have same issue?

I have not had this issue with the only previous Rockettheme template on which I have used Sidebars, but this is the first time I have used it with a Joomla 2.5 template.
Also Roksprocket is a newish Rok module for 2.5 only.
If I run the site through a CS3 validator it comes up with a lot of errors on the Sidebars plugin.
Does Sidebars use JQuery? If so, could be a conflict with Mootools possibly.
Hopefully someone at iJoomla will respond.

Hi,

Could you post a link with the problem?

Hi Ricardo

Try clicking any of the links [All, Movies, Music, Games, Features, Computers] at the top of the Roksprocket Mosaic module.

I didn't installed RokSprocket yet. Probably this module doesn't allow you to include any kind of tags (plugins) in the teaser. Take a look at the preferences and see if you can set plain text in teasers. Also, you could try with other tags, not only with sidebars.

The problem is that this kind of plugins work on content pages only and this is a module area. The solution is to set plain text in teasers. Other modules include the option to avoid specific tags from teasers. Check if this extension has any of these options.
