TOPIC MOVED FROM GENERAL FORUMS TO IJOOMLA AD AGENCY FORUMS. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION WHERE YOU POST YOUR THREADS.
I am just getting started with Ad Agency.

When clicking on OVERVIEW, it uses my homepage layout. However when clicking on PACKAGES or REGISTER, it uses my non-homepage layout. I would rather use the non-homepage layout for all. I assume there is a setting I can't find somewhere...

I have a test version on the right hand side at this page: www.findyoganow.com/index.php/levels.html

Thanks!
~Drew

Hi,

It's a Joomla! problem. You will have to create a hidden menu and there add menu items for Packages and Register pages. Assign the template to your home page and to those menu items.

It will fix the problem.

Anyway, I just checked your site and both pages are loading in with the same template.

I'm somewhat familiar with joomla, but do not fully understand what you are saying I should do. (I am using Joomla 1.5)

The packages and registration pages are showing up exactly as I want them to. The overview page is the one that is showing up incorrectly. I would like it to show up in the article layout, like the packages and registration pages.

I went into the menu manager to create a hidden menu item, I see that AdAgency has an overview menu item option, but I do not see an option to attach any template or layout to it.

If it is reasonable to do this via the code, I can do basic changes, if I know where to go and what to look for...

Thanks,
~Drew

I will show how to solve this.

Create a new Menu on Joomla! called Hidden Menu. There you should create a new menu item called Advertisers Access and use this URL:

www.findyoganow.com/index.php/adagencyAdvertisers/register.html

Then go to module manager page. Edite Featured Pose module and assign it to Advertisers Access menu item.

Repeat these steps with any other page where you have this problem.

That's all.

Well, that doesn't seem to have much to do with my overview page, but I tried it anyway. I also don't understand why my featured pose module would be involved...

I also tried it with: www.findyoganow.com/index.php/adagencyAdvertisers/overview.html

Regardless, it didn't do anything.

It looks like I'm just going to have to hard code out the overview page altogether and create my own from scratch.

Hi

I'm attaching you a snapshot about how I'm seeing both pages. Both are using the same layout. The only difference is that the second page is not showing sidebar modules. The instructions I gave you are to show the sidebar modules.

Best regards,
