Hi.
I'm trying to use sh404SEF. I installed the plugin com_guru.php and I heed your help for SEF urls of courses.
For instance...

I have:
mysite.com/component/guru/guruPrograms/2...e/view/196?task=view

I would like to have:
mysite.com/mycategory/mycourse

I tried some settings but I can't have that I'd like.
Please help.

I'm sorry but is not possible to do this from our extension. Probably you could customize these URLs on sh404SEF.

What exactly does your sh404 extension do? It doesn't seem to make any difference to using sh404 without it - I would have expected at an absolute minimum that it would replace the category and course names?

Suggesting customising URL's within sh404 would mean manually changing these every time a new course/category is added, which quite honestly is not an acceptable workaround.

Hi,
At this point the URL's can't be configured like mysite.com/mycategory/mycourse because Guru need some id's, in the future we will try to improve this for sure.

Is there any progress on this?

At the bare minimum it should remove /guruPcategs from the URL? The ID's are still retained which I guess we'll have to live with, and the ID for the course is still showing - so why can't this be removed as well?
