Hello,

The light box is optional. Simply switch to the show in a window, there is an option on backend. On general settings on this field:

"Open lesson in"

Choose

"Same window"
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I found that option and set it for same window - The lesson video still opened in a lightbox. The lightbox did not go away until I renamed modal.js

Please post a ticket so we can see why it's not working for you or post a screen capture of your general settings

I renamed modal.js to its original name and went back to take screenshots for you. When I did, the front end did not open in a modal window. When I tested the first time I must have either not saved the settings page or the possibly had a browser cache issue.

Either way, the checkbox to remove the modal display works properly - thank you for replies!
