I am not currently using Guru but it is right at top of the list for LMS integration with my site and the features below would really seal the deal.

There are 3 features I would really like to see in Guru:
1. Integration with some sort of collaboration tool (Kunena, CB, etc) - this feature would allow instructors to interact with students and give the course a more personal feel rather than the sterile virtual environment where a student signs up for a course and the instructor has no interaction with the student. uddeIM would also work great.

2. Integration with HikaShop. Instead of having just one PayPal plug in, why not use a shopping cart like HikaShop to do the heavy lifting for payment. A nice touch would be to use the "electronic download" option where there is no shipping involved, just a straight payment to make it clean for the buyers.

3. Course progress bookmarks - this feature would help the students track the lessons they have taken already rather than trying to remember where they left off or try them one by one until they find a new one.

Aaahhh, I think #3 is already taken care of. I just checked one of the featured sites and there is an eye icon next to the lesson.

Also #2 is the DigiStore. I'll have to check it out and see if I can replace HikaShop. If the tax, payments and shipping works in Canada I will consider it for sure.

I guess the only one left is the social integration but I am no the only one asking for it.

Quick question, how would I sell Guru courses if I purchased DigiStore + Guru? Would that be via Guru or integrated with DigiStore?

Is not necessary to buy iJoomla DigiStore to sell Guru courses. Guru has its own payment system that work with Paypal and Authorize.net.

Anyway, I know there are a couple of customers who are using iJoomla DigiStore to sell Guru courses because iJoomla DigiStore has an offline payment plugin. But remember that there isn't any relation between both extensions.

Other way is to create a custom form with instructions to send the payment through a bank account or any other offline payment method. You just need to create a form with the info you need from the customers and set an automatic reply with the instructions to send the payment.
