If I create a category and assign to a course, everything is fine. However, if I have a sub category for this parent category and assing a course to it, the course won´t show.

The course only shows if I assign it to the parent category, not to the child.

Also, when I click on the parent category, it won´t list the children (sub) categories, only the courses assigned to the parent and the parent iself.
