Digistore and VirtueMart playing together!!

My site lets restaurants accept on-line order via fax thru Virtuemart.  I needed to separate the purchasing of my "Services" from this COD only VM install.  In came Digistore to the rescue. It co-exists with VM well and users registering are added to both tables by use of MySQL Triggers.

If you want to check out the VM ordering, type Hunan in the upper search box and click the Orders button.  These are the orders that are faxed to the Restaurants.  I have also combined Mosets Tree with VM for the search and order for Restaurants.

I am taking on affiliates who can make commissions by referring their favorite restaurant to utilize my service.  Send me an e-mail if you are interested in becoming an affiliate.

What did you use to get your orders from VM to the restaurant fax machines?

For any of you with the same question regarding e-mail to Mfg., I added a third notification e-mail that is send to the Mfg. in Virtuemart.  The three e-mail are
1.  Customer
2.  Administrator
3.  Mfg (restaurant)

The 3rd e-mail to the restaurant is sent via an on-line email-to-fax service so the restaurant gets the orders on their fax machine.  This required a little bit of custom code to accomplish.

I use digistore to "sell" my services to these restaurants.  The ease of implementation of paypal payments made it worth the investment as well as the ability to use the mambot to have my products on a content page.  I have all my services on one page using tabs and slides.
