I've spent 3 days on this issues (not an exaggeration) and tried to figure out if was joomla, my template or ijoomla - I still don't know.

The issue: If you make any magazine or issue a menu link in the main menu modules assigned to that menu item won't show up.
This seems to be a result of the way the links are created (as URL or external links in the joomla menu drop down) The links are created without the Itemid=x parameter.

The only solution I've found has been to create an alias link to the magazine menu item and use that link in the site's main menu. Then assign modules to it.

This still doesn't address the issue of showing the link as active in the main menu. The link is not highlighted on a moo or suckerfish menu.

As a suggestion to the forum moderators and admins ... please respond to questions. When you end a forum post with "submit a support ticket" and don't come back to fill the rest of in with the solution it's not only aggravating, but unhelpful. Had I bothered to check the forums before purchasing and seen all of the questions responded to in this way and the "check this link" or "this link has been moved" that go nowhere and offer no solutions I never would have bought the product.

Hey there, it's good to know that I am not the only one facing this kind of problem. I totally think just like you do. I never thought that the process will not be smooth regarding it's usage.. I know there will always be solution. However, it's a bit hard to find experts in this field or to easily solve the problem, we will need to spend for it..
