Joomla Login Module - setting up "banned" user names

Hello People,

Hope I am posting this on the correct board !

On my Joomla website that I am developing, I would like to create a "list" of banned user names.

If a user attempts to register using a name on the "Banned List" he/she will be politely prompted to choose a different user name.

I have had a look to see where such a list of user names could be stored/input - but can't find it - maybe I am looking for something that does not exist.

Any advice would be appreciated.
