Can I use a comment component with iJoomla Magazine?
How do I add quotes to my articles?
Under the column marked "Article Title", find and open the content item you'd like to edit.
Choose the text you'd like to quote and enter a quotes tag in the beginning and a closing quotes tag at the end.
Save the page, check the result and tweak as needed.
For example, from the text...:

To create the quote, add the quote tags around the text:

This will display the quotes in an approximate location to the source text.
Note: Quotes work only in full text--don't add them to your intro text!
Quotes align to the left by default but If you'd like to align the quote box to the right, add align=right to the opening tag: {quotes align=right}. The closing tag should remain the same.
Do I get free support?
What is the difference between HTML and Text mode for the intro text on the home page?
Text mode strips out the HTML to show only the copy without any HTML tags. Use this option if you want to keep your home page clean and organized.

How do I upgrade to the new version?

Do I have to re-enter all my content in order to use it on the magazine?
When you add articles to your magazine, you will be asked to choose the article from your existing list of content items.
What is the "main image" and how do I control it?
To place a main image,
Components-> Magazine
On the left menu select Manage Content-> Issues
Open the issue. On the General tab choose the main article to which your main image will link.
Finally, on the Image tab, choose the image you wish to use.
What is the difference between vertical and horizontal items?
Horizontal items are displayed horizontally with the image on the left, and the title and text on the right.

What are the terms for using iJoomla Magazine?

How long will it take to create my magazine?
That depends on how comfortable you are using Joomla and whether you've already added content items and images. With our content wizard you can add magazines/issues/articles in a matter of seconds!
The most time-consuming aspect would be creating the images that go with your magazine. Finding the right images, resizing them and adding them to your articles takes time but the result is a great looking magazine!
What knowledge do I need before I start my magazine?
Intermediate Joomla knowledge including installation of components/modules and creating and publishing items etc. If you're just starting with Joomla, this may not be a good place to begin. Come back soon, when you're more comfortable with the Joomla software.
Basic image handling. To create a magazine with images you will need a graphics program and know how to resize/crop images. If you don't have this knowledge or the necessary software, ask us about our magazine creation services.
You don't need to understand CSS but it helps We provide you with different style sheets that you can either use as is or modify. You will need basic CSS knowledge to modify the CSS code.

How do I upgrade from version 1.x to 2.x?
- Log in to our site with the email address you used to purchase with PayPal or 2CheckOut. If you don't know/remember the password, please click here. Usually, your username is your email address.
- Click here to see your license.
- Click on "Please register to download this product" link.
- Enter your domain name (without www).
- Download the product as instructed.
- Uninstall the component, modules and mambot (please see manual for more details).
- Reinstall the component, modules and mambot.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling will not lose any information other than your settings.
