Layouts

Layouts are simple HTML tables that contain the zone tags and allow you to control the location of each zone. If you have basic HTML knowledge, you can easily paste the code into Dreamweaver, make any changes you want and paste the new code back into Joomla. You can even add images to the layout. If you don't have any HTML knowledge, you'll still find that moving the different zone tags to different places on the page is a real breeze if you do that right on your Joomla HTML editor.

The iJoomla News Portal consists of three layouts:

Home Page

The News Portal home page is the first page that users will see.

Section Page

The section home page is reached by clicking the section name as it appears on the home page, on the category's home page or on the news section module.

Category Page

The category home page is reached by clicking the category name as it appears on the home page or on the section home page.
