As promised, guys at the JED (Joomla Extensions Directory) have removed all the commercial NON-GPL extensions. As we knew this was coming, we've created our own directory, listing all the commercial NON-GPL extensions, so that you can find them easily and rate/review them.
So if you need to find a commercial extension, go to extensions.ijoomla.com, and don't forget to rate/review extensions you are using!

We all love Joomla because it's such an awesome CMS with a ton of great
extensions and templates. But it’s not always easy to use and there are times when even the most experienced developer runs into trouble. So when problems crop up, what do you do?
Joomla.org has an active forum that can be pretty helpful, and other third party developers have forums too. But you can't always find the answer to your question on a free discussion area and sometimes you need help right away.
Your own in-house Joomla programmer would be perfect, but expensive, and finding a random, freelance programmer is a bit of a crap shoot. You never what you’re going to get… other than a big bill.
Fortunately, there is another way…
The Open Source Support Desk offers support packages to help with any Joomla
problem!
And if it turns out that they can't solve the problem, they won’t charge you. You can’t say fairer than that.
And pretty much any other problem you might come across while developing with Joomla.
And the price is reasonable too. Pre-paid packages cost $360 for four hours or you can pay $600 for eight hours of assistance.
That gives you plenty of time to solve a ton of problems. As long as you don’t run into any major issues, you should find that you have on-hand support for months.
And the best news is…
To help get your site ready for the holiday season, the Support Desk is offering 15 percent discount on its prepaid support bundles. The offer is only valid until November 30, 2009, so do act now. Just enter the promo code “holiday09” when you make your purchase. And if you need a Joomla Support Contract with a strict Service Level Agreement, you should talk to them about that too. They do it.
Independence Day savings! You get 20% off until Monday at midnight!
