iJoomla.com, one of the leading Joomla software companies, has announced the release of iJoomla Surveys Version 0.29. This new version has fixed a number of problems reported by users of the previous versions, as well as adding a few new features. The new Version 0.29 of iJoomla Surveys is a very stable version of the product, and is expected to be the last version of the product developed for Joomla 1.0.  

Future versions of iJoomla Surveys are being developed to support the upcoming release of Joomla 1.5. A substantial development effort is required to support Joomla 1.5. iJoomla plans to make sure all of the company's products work with Joomla 1.5 and iJoomla is now in the process of updating all of their products to support the release of Joomla 1.5. 

Problems Solved in Version 0.29

Here are some of the issues that have been resolved in iJoomla Surveys version 0.29:

1. Safari bugs resolved. There were quite a few problems related to how Surveys were displayed in the Safari browser, and they have now been fixed. The problems on the back-end administration of Surveys using Safari are not related to the iJoomla Surveys component, but are related to the HTML editor in Joomla 1.0.12. This is a known problem with Safari and there is no known solution. Until a solution is found the company recommends that customers use Firefox when accessing the back-end interface of iJoomla Surveys.
 
2. Compatibility issues with the JcalPro module have been fixed.
 
3. iJoomla Surveys version 0.29 has improved the support of advanced SEF features.
 
4. When a respondent chose "Other", their answer wasn't properly counted. This problem has been fixed.
 
5. Version 0.29 offers some significant improvements to the CSV export feature.
 
6. iJoomla Surveys version 0.29 is now XHTML and CSS compliant. This is iJoomla's first component that is XHTML and CSS compliant and the company is working on updating the rest of our components to fully support these important standards.
