If you're planning to add a gallery to your Joomla site,
your best bet is probably to use Marco Antonio Regueira's MGM Joomla! Gallery Manager.
It's
easy to install, set up and use, it lets you run galleries online and it offers
a pretty broad range of options to post picture galleries on your Joomla site.
There are a bunch of other Joomla gallery options available
though.
In fact, extensions.joomla.org lists 36 of them, with Expose
Flash Gallery getting plenty of thumbs-up, PonyGallery
doing well and the Couloir
Slideshow Gallery Ajax Module offering some neat features, including a
lightbox effect in the latest version.
