The latest article when chosen does not update on with adding a new article, and out of nowhere the new article is there day later, two days later?
Where is this set up and why it is not immediately seen. I took off the function and then placed back few days later and the new article showed up, so I am not sure what drives it.

Hi,
It could be a cache problem. Are you using a cache extension?
Check if cache can be cleaned by Joomla! Let me know if the problem persists.

I'm having a similar problem - I've noticed when I create an article it's not listed in the archive. When creating an article under a specific user, that article does not show up on author page of archive either. So... new articles are not showing up under the categories or author sections. I'm not running any cache plugins, and system cache is turned off. Please advise.

Thanks so much for getting back. Not sure if I understand your question, but I'm running iJoomla Search and Archive 2.2.5, and Joomla 1.5. The problem: newly posted articles that were added after an update to some additional categories (I added the categories after installing iJoomla) are not showing up in the archive section. Organized by category and by author, those articles aren't showing up (e.g., Jimmy posts an article, but there's no reflection of that article in the Author section of iJoomla Archive.

Do you have any thoughts?

It's probably because the hour on the server is not the same as the hour of publication assigned by Joomla, this should be resolved within 24 hours. If you wish to avoid this situation, when you create the article, choose the publishing date "today".
