I use both iJoomla SEO & sh404sef on my site.
Yesterday I noticed in my Google webmaster tools, that there are 119 pages on my site that contain duplicate meta tags, which is the content in the Site Meta Description on the Joomla Global Configuration page for my site. and this appears to be over-riding the meta description of the individual pages.

Is there a way to solve this? should I remove the content within the global configuration page?
and do the iJoomla seo tags over-ride sh404sef?

Hi,
You can use both extensions on the same site. Just turn off metadata manager on sh404SEF settings.
Please do that and let me know if the problem persists.
