iJoomla and Community Builder

Maybe this is a long shot, but it's worth a try.

First, I want to say that you have a phenomenal product. I love everything you're doing, and 2.0 is better than expected - even the beta version.

So, here's my request:

I'm going to have several magazines available. I don't want to send every magazine to every user. But, I want the users to manage their own subscriptions (not me). It seems that the best way to integrate some sort of magazine management is by creating a plugin for Community Builder, similar to Yanc (but better). Then, instead of selecting users according to the standard Joomla groups, we could send a magazine to ONLY those users who have selected that magazine from their profile.

In any case, I'd like some way to filter who gets which magazine - and I'd like the users to maintain their own list.

Thanks. This is something we have considered and we may get to a few versiond down the road. Along with integration with other components as well.

Hi.

Why not integrate the authors information with CB.

I am going to have authors to write articles, possibly using MyBlog from Azrul.
I do not want my authors to get backend access.

If Ijoomla magazine was integrated with CB I could let them update their CB profile and I would not have to update their profile manually.
