Post subject: iJoomla using more than ONE Template

Hi ijoomla magazine users, I Hope someone can help me out.

Is there a way to assign a joomla template from the template manager to different ijoomla magazines or issues

E.g
I have three Joomla templates

1st Template is Default home page, no column using ijoomla #1 Layout.
2nd template is for articles, contains left column.
3rd template is different again, widths of left column are wider.

Now,
The 1st Template is assigned to default and is displaying 3 articles all in verticle configuration. When I click the Read more, I need this article to be displayed in the
second joomla template.
This is not the case at the moment. By default iJoomla magazine seems to use just one
template. Is there a way to make ijoomla use multiple joomla templates to run the
magazine.

regards, Phil

There is a previous post relating to what I referring to in my post

I still have a question regarding getting a link on the TOP MENU to point to a different joomla template showcasing a magazine with different issue layout

Maybe I'm being a little confusing, but ijoomla isn't as easy. All I need is a link on the Top menu to display a different magazine and different layout when clicked.

regards, Phil

Yes, you need to use the magazine menu module. With this module, a menu items is generated for each of the magazines and issues. That means you can assign different templates and modules for each magazine/issues.

If you go to modules->site modules and open a module, you will see on the right side the menu items I am talking about, they all start with the word "magazine".

Hi Guys
I got the top Link sorted. It is now going to different Joomla Template pointing to a different magazine and layout style.

One more issue, Which may not be solvable in this release
In image 1 that I posted, when you click the Read more, it still uses the same default template
Is there a way to change what template these articles are displayed while using ijoomla magazine.

regards, Phil

Just to say, I would like to be able to assign a separate template for articles as well. Thanks.
