I am unable to get the issue menus working properly.(using the "magazine issues" module.)
When I click and go into an issue I will have 3 issue choices and when I select one and go into it two will disappear and only the one that I am in will remain as a choice. Other strange compinations also happen such as when I go into one of the three one that I have not chose disappears!
I am runnung this on windows XP pro under Joomla 10.13 the server is XAMPP 3.5
with PHP5 ialso Joomla Cloner, Joomla shack lightfast template and WYSIWYG Pro editor.
HELP!

I'm running on WinXP/Joomla 1.0.13/XAMPP 1.6.0 and my mod_magazine_issues 2.1 works fine.
Try using in localhost a new joomla instalation without any aditional component, in order to be able of checking which one is making the error.

Great idea Ricardo.
I'll be back in a day or two and if that is it I hope it's a known issue wth something I
have installed.

OK I did a totally clean install and
this is my experience with a clean install of JS magazine:
I installed Joomla 1.0.13 on a Windows XAMPP server.
created 2 magazines with 3 issues each. In each issue is one item of content. When you choose the first magazine you see the 3 issues in the issue menu. When you choose an issue the issue menu then shows just that issue but if you then choose the magazine again the issue menu will again show the 3 issues.
However when you choose the second magazine, the issue menu correctly shows the 3 issues, choose an issue and the issue menu correcly shows the just the single chosen issue. But if you then choose the magazine the issue menu does not reset and again show the 3 issues.
This menu was buggy with all the extras installed and is still buggy with the clean install.
I am at aloss again....
ANy suggestions appreciated. |
