HELP!

1. From what we can see, the news portal is supposed to affect the home page, as well as our section and category pages. However, the news portal commands are not functioning for the section and category pages (ex. while the info on the front page rolls through according to date, it is not doing that at all on the others - the info stays the same on those pages). What are we missing??

2. As we go through the Managers Content and select info from the sections, categories, etc. we're getting confused by the different options. For example, on the categories page, you have Featured Home Page, Section Page, Include, and Home Page. These seem a bit redundant, are they? Or, are those used to select which info goes on the Home, Section, and/or Category pages? (this would help answer question 1!). Please please please define these for us!

FYI, we did print off the manual, and...it didn't help. Thanks so much!

2) Layout is predefined quite similarly for Home/Section/Category pages but you can change them as you'd like. What you find between {} is a placeholder for items showing up in its place(zone) on page. You can reorder, rearrange appearance of these items on every page (home/section/category) differently. Design->Zones allows you to change appearance of all available zones.
