I knew nothing about creating a Joomla website when I installed Joomla and then iJoomla Magazine, my site isn't heavily customized on the front end, however I have managed to set up a bunch of components such as fireboard, and Advanced SEF, not to mention its pretty heavily S.E.O. friendly and already has over 100 pages indexed with Google in only a few short month, and users have increased to about 5000 a month, and that number is growing at a rate of 5% a day, which means within 1 year I should be up to about 100,000 unique visitors a month.

I only suggest you to use less items in your main menu because it don't fit on the screen.
