Post subject: iJoomla and nonprofits
|
|

| Hi,I am new to iJoomla but very interested in potentially using the Magazine and digistore for a UK nonprofit site. Does iJoomla Mag integrate with CiviCRM? Could you direct me to where I can find out more about the technical limitations of the newsletter function for emailing magazine issues? Eg how to setup mailing lists etc...Many thanks. |

If CiviCRM does integrate to Joomla!, then probably it will integrate to iJoomla Magazine too.
For iJoomla Magazine's Newsletter
Take a look at here.

..Thanks for that.. but the link at the bottom saying 'please read the newsletter requirements document' just takes you back to the extensions frontpage. [try it] So none the wiser, do you think you could fix that link up so I can access the doc?
Thanks |

Thanks for that reply. Looks like gobbledeygook but sure it's important. What I would like is just a little more info on specific functionality; your info pages seem to not go into too much detail.
* can I get signups for a newsletter who aren't registered users? ie by just entering email address?
* can I configure mailouts based on user groups in (eg) community builder, CiviCRM?
* ditto for people who have purchased items in digistore?
thanks |

No, first they have to be registered as users in Joomla!.
