Hi

I published the standard joomla feeds on my site but they all show the original home page that is never updated anymore. How can I get them to show items on the magazine front page?

The RSS works with the frontpage component, not with the magazine, that is why it's not being updated.

We are coming out with an RSS component for the magazine that will allow you to use RSS. This will not be a part of the package but will be available for a reasonable price.

It will looks like this:

I'm guessing in the meantime we can just publish all new articles to the Frontpage component too? Will that do the trick as far as updating the RSS feed?

And what would happen when people click on links in their RSS Readers? Would it take them to the frontpage component or to the mainpage of the iJoomla-powered Magazine component?

I found that this...

/task,viewlink/link_id,2497/Itemid,35/

Solved all my RSS problems. You can set up individual RSS feeds based on your content categories. So what i do is i have a catagory for each issue and i RSS our the Catagory so therefore its also sending out the same articles as are in that issue. Just keep your catagories and issues/magazines consistent and it works ok.
