Post subject: Ijoomla s "homepage" - modules disappear
|
|
|
Hi
ijoomla 1.0, Joomla 1.07 fresh installation
I configured ijommla, so that it is the "homepage" of this testboard. When I do this, my modules like template chooser. polls etc. are diappearing.
If I push ijoomla one level below "home" in main menu, module shows up at the right side again
Why is this?
Thanks in advance |

That's because you didn't assign these modules to show on the magazine home page. You'll need to go to modules section and open each module and highlight the magazine component on the right and save.
Let me know if that worked. |

Thanks, this worked partially. All modukles shall display now on all sites
The modules on the left side seem to be very squeezed. On the right side template module seems o.k., Module Polls does not appear except the name.
Shall I first upgrade to ijoomla 1.1.1 before investigation further?
(Same URL, password etc. as yesterday) |

Where can I find your info? please remind me.
My guess is that your magazine is just too wide, maybe the main image is to wide or the vertical items. You will need to adjust the sizes in order to make it look right.
And yes, upgrading is a good idea because we fixed a few bugs |
