Post subject: Submission Component

I found a better submission component than the core component with Joomla. JASubmit from JoomlaArt.com
They have a free membership level in which you can download the component. Highly configurable AND you only need one link instead of many links.
Cheers! |

So how do you use this with ijoomla?
Would the submission be an article but unpublished until you assign an ijoomla article to it?
I'm also assuming that the submission isn't published in whatever joomla category it's sent to until you publish it for use as an article for ijoomla. _________________ John Patrick, Bird Oasis

Joomla is just a cms, until you add ijoomla magazine to it.

It was actually very easy. After you install you select the different categories from a list and set the permissions as you want. Allow Public, or only registered etc.
Once a article is published then user can enter comments in based on your settings. Admin can manage comments in the backend.
The comments appear with the article. You do not need to do anything with iJoomla to make this work. Check out http://www.plpwebs.com and read one of the articles. The comments are at the bottom of the article. |
