...iJoomla could be the portfolio manager that is missing for Joomla.

The research I've done on finding portfolio components has come up with one realization: there aren't any that really works.

However, iJoomla's ability to make your homepage broken down by multiple configurations both vertically and horizontally is exciting from a portfolio point of view. Here's a real-life problem I'm facing:

I'd like these different sections on my site:
* Logo Design
* Print Design
* Web Design

Easy enough so far. But I would LOVE to be able to go to each section's page to have an iJoomla edition there, showing off my projects with whatever combination of vertical and horizontal placement I choose.

My experience is that there's now way to do that right now with iJoomla. But simply having the ability to publish different editions with different settings would make iJoomla invaluable for anyone who needs a solid portfolio component to display work.

My two cents is that you can then market iJoomla in a completely new way: as The Best Portfolio component for artists. Period!

Feel free to tell me I'm off my rocker. Maybe I'm missing a basic understanding of Joomla to understand why this wouldn't work.

You're right. I think this problem will be solved when we release our next version which will support "multiple magazines" and allow you to have different settings for each. Wink
