    Is there a way to setup the article layout like you would zones in your News Portal?

    What I'm trying to do is display my articles here http://insidecatholic.com/Joomla/index.php?option=com_m
    agazine

    like I do in my cover story here:

    Where it takes the {mosimage}, regardless of where it is in intro text, and places it to the left of all the other text.

    The magazine doesn't generate thumbnails from your article body, you'd have to create an image and assign it to an article for it to show.

    If I recode that horizontal function to do so, do you mind if I post for people that want that?

    I figured that since the newportal would allow you to do that, iMagazine would, too.

    Although,

    I am curious to know why it was decided to take a different layout approach from the News Portal component, since it was already implemented in that one.
