Post subject: newsportal v 23 and v 24 displays issues in IE7

Merav,
UPDATE! THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY RESOLVED BY iJOOMLA TECH SUPPORT - THANKS Alin.
I was a GMaps component and iJoomla incompatibility. GMaps was the issue and was removed and now my site works in all browsers again.
Re: UPGRADE MESS WITH IE7 and v 0_23 and 0_24 of Newsportal
After upgrading to v 23 and v 24 I found that my site has an Internet Explorer 7 issue with displaying my main menu twice and the top one which should not be there is displayed with text and links after I upgrade to iJoomla Newsportal 23 or 24. The site content gets pushed below and the right menu is below.
So why just in IE7 and why the main menu being duplicated?
I decided to try the upgrade to iJoomla Newsportal 23 and everything works fine in Firefox but when I viewed my site in Internet Exploder 7, the main menu gets displayed 2 times on my site. There is now a 2nd menu with text and links above everything on my site and all the content is pushed down.
Also when I scroll down, the Newsportal Section menu gets all messed up and the modules do not display their color and the text is not displayed right.
I had this issue way back at version 18 and I had to go back to an older version to get it to work in IE7, but this is not acceptable as there are other bug fixes and enhancements that the new version offers.
Since I do not want to go backwards to an older version I would like to sort this issue out once and for all to get it working, or I guess I will just have to create a whole new site from scratch.
I guess a ticket is the next step to see if your tech team can help sort this out as my site is now useless if only Firefox users can view it.
I currently have the v 0_0_24 of the Newsportal component and the 0_0_9 NewPortal module installed.
This must be an IE7 and Rockettheme template issue or CSS issue or something to do with how IE handles things in the sporticus news template from Rockettheme because it does not happen on my other site that I have a different template installed.
Also as mentioned everything works fine in Firefox.
If anyone has had similar issues with IE7 and the main menu getting displayed 2 times on the site with one being displayed as text and links at the top above everything else and then one the right menu where the text looks messed up, and the modules not showing the right color and if you found a fix or solution, I would appreciate finding out how to resolve this issue.

Hi,
you have noticed that not only news portal items don't show up correctly - like Member Login and other modules - that means this problem is not News Portal's responsibility. Check on forums of template maker on how to resolve this. _________________ Vladimir

Vlade,
When I remove iJoomla News Portal everything is fine and when I reinstall it again everything gets messed up so there has to be one module or something that is not compatible with the new version v 23 or v 24 of IJoomla Newsportal.
I have to go back to the previous version v 18 I was using earlier until I can find time to track the incompatible module or mambot down. Or better yet, I think I will just focus on creating a new site like I started today, put fresh installs of everything on the new site and scrap the old site.
Thanks again for your response.

How does it look like on content items page?
You can check if it is a module problem by unpublishing all of the modules and then publishing it back - one at a time, and after each publish check your front page to see after what module it gets broken.
Fresh installations are good but time consuming option, did it you make them, how did it go? _________________ Vladimir
