We created a news site called Prescott eNews for our local area, http://www.prescottenews.com and used the News Portal.
Since I was very new to Joomla, I wimped out and hired someone to install the module for me, into a template I designed. But, I absolutely love the News Portal, it truly makes uploading stories and organizing them absolutely seamless.
In case anyone is wondering, I hired Rick Blalock from Expression in Design (http://www.expressionindesign.com/) to set it all up. He did a terrific job. |
