Ok, this is how you do it:
1. Open your issue
2. Go to general tab
3. In description enter the following code:
| Code: | | {mosloadposition user9} |
That means it will show you the modules in position user9. You can change it to any other position though.
4. Open the flash rotator module and change the position to user9 (or whatever you entered in the code).
5. Save _________________ Merav

1. Make sure you have the latest version 2.0.16 beta
2. Make sure the tag is in the intro text of one of your articles
3. Make sure the mambot mosloadposition is published _________________ Merav

I've never worked with Macromedia flash before BUT have created a flash presentation in Apple Keynote & saved in Flash (swf format). It's a bit like the 'demo how-to files here in iJoomla.
It saves it as 2 files: .swf AND .html - opening locally you click on the html file and it takes you through the presentation with transitions, voice-over etc etc - it's neat!
So what I'd like to do is:
1. Place an Image in the Main Article Image position
2. Users click & it opens the Presentation in a new window
Can it be done this way? |

Hi, Merav
I'm not getting this. I want the flash rotator image in position 'd' of my layout (the image position). My mos loadimageposition is published and I pasted the code about 'user9' into the description area.
I had the title 'Flash rotator' showing up above my image, but not the flash.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

It's hard to tell without seeing your backend. You can open a support ticket and I will take a look. _________________ Merav

The same problem that I have?! I have done all the steps you mentioned. It only works in "normal" articles but not with the articles in the magazine-component.
Is there any solution for this? |

Yes, I've tried all the things mentioned and can't get it to work for me on either of the two sites I tried.
I've pasted the code into the description section of the issue.
The mambot is published, and the module loads on a normal page.
I'm not sure where the code is supposed to go in the intro text of an article ... Do you mean the intro text for the main article? I've tried putting it in the introtext box of a normal content item displayed at the top of the magazine page but with no result...
Any other thoughts?

Hi Merav
You say here that you should have the tag in the intro text of one of the articles - I would like to be able to have the flash rotator in the latest issue.
I'm trying it with 2.0.17c and it doesn't work for me - just shows the text (and yes, I disabled any editors and have published the module on all pages).
Any other ideas on why it isn't working?
Regards
James |

Did you try to place the tag in the issue description? that would work too. _________________ Merav
