Post subject: V2 - CSS Template Question
|
|
|
Aloha!
I noticed from the demo on selecting a CSS theme that many were from rocketthemes. Currently I'm using modernbusiness template, from rocket theme, and saw it wasn't on the drop down list - is there any chance that CSS woudl be added, or maybe it is already in, to V2 - pretty please |

Hello,
We will add more styles as we go. Meanwhile you can tweak any of the available ones, I am sure you'll find one that you like _________________ Merav

Mahalos!! Whew - that is one long list - my suggestion was just out of pure laziness in trying to find a good iJ! CSS to match my site's template |

Not sure why we skipped this one, probably by mistake. I noticed though that I found ones that I like better than the ones that were designed for the specific template. For example on this site:
http://www.ebbw.net/
We used the macphoria CSS and it worked great. _________________ Merav

Which Template is eBBW.net ?
I notice that on the article pages it seems to be a 4 column grid:
Left Menu | Content | Related article/google/banner ad | Right menu
How does the Related Article become a google ad on some pages and a banner on others? |

Take a look here:
http://www.ijoomla.com/Joomla_Magazine/Version_2.0/Side bars/
Basically you an add sidebars to your articles (version 2.x only) and these side bars have a "source article" that can be anything you want - banners, adsense, articles etc. It's whatever you place on the intro text that will show up. _________________ Merav

Yup... I worked it out some hours after I posted the message (while aimlessly trawling the forum for interesting stuff!).
Interesting use of latteral thinking - I'll be re-thinking my definnition of: 'sidebar'.
I am having problems getting it to display though - I'll do a thorough check of my site before shouting for help. |

Ok I admit defeat!
The Jpg attached is what the Article page looks like before the Sidebar is assigned - as a 250X250 banner giff following the video demo:
This is what it looks like after the image is assigned !!!
http://packwebasia.com/index.php?option=com_content&tas k=view&id=240&Itemid=82
I'm lost as to why it appears about 8 times all over the place - Including above the main top ads (above the 'Masthead') in the Right col - above the google ads etc etc!
A bit of an issue - though we're not 'live' yet but still playing around with the front page layout. |
