Post subject: Beyond help?
|

OK, if you read my last post then you know that my site disappeared and an error popped up. I think it's my fault. Anyway...
I uninstalled the ijoomla magizine componant, modules, mambot... the site reappeared but now all of my menus are gone, gone, gone.
I imagine that I could have uninstalled them on accident, is that possible? I thought that you couldn't delete core modules.
Help.
Is there a way to re-install the main menu module? All of the menu items are still listed under main menu in my admin panel but there are no menus listed in site modules. At the top of my admin panel it says...
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/o/s/h/mydatabase/html/mysite/includes/joo mla.php on line 5036
I looked at the code an that line has to do with the main menu. Surprise, surprise.
Where would I get the main menu module to install on its own?
Is there anything in uninstalling ijoomla magizine that would have taken my menus with it?
I understand that this is probably all my fauly but any help you can offer would be appreciated. After three week of tinkering, the site was beeeaaautiful... oh well?
Thanks, |

This is a repeating questions usually by inexperienced Joomla users. Here's how to solve it:
modules->site modules
Open each of the modules you want to show on your magazine pages (yes, even menus are modules) and on the right side you will see a list of all the menu items this module will be displayed on. Highlight the menu item that links to the magazine.
I am assuming you already created a menu item that links to the magazine? If not, create it first. _________________ Merav

| There are no more menu modules. They're gone. Is it possible to delete the menus? Could I have uninstalled them when I was uninstalling ijoomla magazine? |

No, just installing iJoomla magazine will not delete your menus, you'd have to actualy choose the menus and delete them.
Please open a support ticket so that we can take a look and help you further. _________________ Merav
