Title: where are attributes defined?

I recently purchased digistore. Documentation says I should be able to create attributes for products-where is this done? The admin manual lists it as #7, just after 6.Languages. I do not see where I access an attribute menu in the admin panel.

Go to Manager - Fields and then you will see something like this.
