Title: News or Magazine

I am unsure which component to use. I have purchased both the magazine and the news portal.

My issue is that I do not use Sections/Categories much on my site and as a result I am trying to maintain my current URL's to preserve my rankings in the search engines.

I also currently do not use the Front Page component, I use a static page.

Any ideas how I can go about looking at my options as to which would be best for my site?

Hi,
If you use iJoomla News Portal (http://www.alledia.com/) or iJoomla Magazine (http://www.barkleyandpaws.com) you will get this URL for each item:
/section/category/article
You can use iJoomla Magazine on your front page and add articles using intro text with external links option (linked to your current items) on "read more".
