Title: Image resizing Post by: sgaughan on May 18, 2008, 07:22:12 PM On one of our sites, we have the image resizing set to reduce the lead image from 135x135 to 100x100. However, the feature has resized every image that appears on the front page, wether the lead or not.
We did not see this happen before upgrading to the most recent version of News Portal. You can see what happens by comparing the front page and full article on the interior. Here are two examples: Front page: http://ts-si.org/ (http://ts-si.org/) The Human Genome And HBS: An Opportunity For Further Study. See the abstract graphic of a crowd of people. http://ts-si.org/content/view/3181/991/ (http://ts-si.org/content/view/3181/991/) Historical Perspective: US State Leadership And Innovation. See the photo of President Eisenhower. http://ts-si.org/content/view/3207/995/ (http://ts-si.org/content/view/3207/995/) Has anyone else seen this happen? If so, does it annoy you as much as it does me? Sharon Title: Re: Image resizing Post by: RicardoCorai on May 19, 2008, 02:08:50 PM Hi sgaughan,
I just checked your site and I can´t find the problem. On frontpage I can see your leading image (100x100) and a second image with the same size that it has on the article´s page (234x99 - http://ts-si.org/content/view/3181/991/ and 135x168 - http://ts-si.org/content/view/3207/995/). Please let me know if the problem persists. Best regards, Title: Re: Image resizing Post by: sgaughan on May 19, 2008, 02:29:05 PM I just checked your site and I can´t find the problem. You don't see it because I gave up and rolled back from 1.0 to the earlier version. The new version is unstable and can't maintain proper rendering. I will attempt to wait until the bugs are fixed.
