Title: Help with a few things Post by: nadeem on May 20, 2008, 03:36:36 AM Hi
I have a number of questions / issues which someone might be able to help with. 1) We have a very large site which probaly contains a lot of articels in each section and category. My problem is i can setup a category or section page to show so much. Is there are away i can create a link which then just shows everything as a blog list like normal joomla So user can paginate through the whole category and section if they want too. So like a see All articles type link. 2)The site already has menu items which link to scetions and categories and there are at least 20 or 30 such links. So the Menu link goes to http://www.hizb.org.uk/hizbdev/content/blogsection/11/184/ And the featured section link goes to http://www.hizb.org.uk/hizbdev/component/option,com_news_portal/task,section/id,11/Itemid,232/ How can i point them to the one and same URL. So clicking on either gets to the section page. I don't want to have to recreate all the links 3) Also Related to linking The same links mentioned above When i use the SEO component sh404SEF For the normal menu link i get http://www.hizb.org.uk/hizb/resources/ And for the one form news portal we get a totally non seo url http://www.hizb.org.uk/hizbdev/index.php?option=com_news_portal&task=section&id=11&Itemid=232 Of course it sounds like it's an issue to do with the seo component. My question is anyone used it and got SEO friendly or is there one which works better with ijoomla news. Thanks for all help in advance Title: Re: Help with a few things Post by: RicardoCorai on May 22, 2008, 07:46:28 AM Quote 1) We have a very large site which probaly contains a lot of articels in each section and category. Edit your language file and find this:Code: define("_SHOW_ALL_FRONT",">>"); Replace >> with "View All".Best regards, Title: Re: Help with a few things Post by: nadeem on May 24, 2008, 04:22:23 PM Thanks, would be really nice if you could define within normal interface.
