Title: Do I install both Dev & Live?

Hello

Do I need to uninstall Dev and install Live components and modules before going into production? If so, how do I not loose what I create?

When you reinstall iJoomla Components, you don´t lose any content. Just remember the settings of your modules.

Why can´t we not have both install in same time?

dev = a install for testing.
live = site for public.

Actually, our last version of digistore that we use on ijoomla, allows you to do just that. it should work on both domains.

We use the digistore for managing licenses and producing packages, of all our extensions, including magazine. So when you download a package, you can install it on either live or dev domain and it will work on both.
