Post by: AmyMc on March 04, 2008, 07:51:26 AM
I would like to use a slide show type module to make my main image a slide show. Is that possible in ijoomla and if so what would I need to do.

Here is an example of what I would like http://www.hightidemagazine.com/index.php

I know he used .swf but I just want to use a module can it be done like that?

You can use {mosloadposition user1} on your iJoomla Magazine description. On user1 position you can use an slideshow extension (like frontpage slideshow (http://news.ejoomla.net/news/commercial_extensions/frontpage_slideshow_version_1.7_released%21/)).
Let me know if you have any doubts with this.
Best regards,

Hi RicardoCorai,

I would like to have the same and I already own a copy of the frontpage slideshow. However, what do you mean with {mosloadposition user1}? What should I do with that?

I've set up ijoomla magazine to be my mainpage (frontpage).

Regards,
Nico...

Hi,
1-Publish your FrontPage Slideshow on a module position. Ex. User1.
2-Put this code on your magazine description: {mosloadposition user1}.
3-Save the changes and go to magazine front page. There you will see your slideshow.
Best regards,
