mmmm, actually, my question is if is at all posible to do it now. the component is useless to me if I can't make it work the way I need it to. There's got to be a way to modify the checkout process so that it takes to a diferent payment system.

I've checked with the tool you recommended, and the following results came back:
Analysis and Recommendations
* TOTAL_HTML - Congratulations, the total number of HTML files on this page (including the main HTML file) is 1 which most browsers can multithread. Minimizing HTTP requests is key for web site optimization. * TOTAL_OBJECTS - Warning! The total number of objects on this page is 304 - consider reducing this to a more reasonable number. Combine, refine, and optimize your external objects. Replace graphic rollovers with CSS rollovers to speed display and minimize HTTP requests. * TOTAL_IMAGES - Warning! The total number of images on this page is 272 , consider reducing this to a more reasonable number. Combine, refine, and optimize your graphics. Replace graphic rollovers with CSS rollovers to speed display and minimize HTTP requests. * TOTAL_CSS - Warning! The total number of external CSS files on this page is 16 , consider reducing this to one or two external files. Combine, refine, and optimize your external CSS files. Ideally you should have one (or even embed CSS for high-traffic pages) on your pages. * TOTAL_SIZE - Warning! The total size of this page is 1387543 bytes, which will load in 337.34 seconds on a 56Kbps modem. The total size of external your scripts is 190159 bytes, which is over 8K. Consider optimizing your scripts for size, combining them, and using compression where appropriate for any scripts placed in the HEAD of your documents. * CSS_SIZE - Warning! Consider optimizing your CSS for size by eliminating whitespace, using shorthand notation, and combining multiple CSS files where appropriate. * MULTIM_SIZE - Congratulations, the total size of all your external multimedia files is 0 bytes, which is less than 4K.

Check this warnings. Also, I detected too many problems with xajax.js (whosonline module) and a mootools problem. If you need more information, check the log from your cpanel. how can i fix the ajax and the mootools problem?

General / General iJoomla Discussions / response time in forum

I was just wondering if the owners of this webpage still crawl these forums. The response from the owners in the forum is very slow and sometimes inexistent. Any reason for the null participation in some areas?

iJoomla News Portal / Support Questions / Huge Mistake!!!! Please Help Urgent!!!
|
on: January 21, 2008, 07:46:12 AM

Hi there, I think I messed up pretty bad. I was trying to make module position 1 show up on top of everything in news portal, and have stretch out past the middle margin, and now my right modules are not showing up, I tried to reverse everything, but I think I missed something. Can someone please help me fix this?? This is what my Home Page layout config is at. I think I messed it up. It might be easier to give someone my info because i had to leave my site offline because of the error. Or if someone can paste the original layout that would be great! <table border="0" cellspacing="5" cellpadding="0" style="border-collapse: separate"> <tbody> <tr valign="top"> <td width="48%">{date_time}{more news}{module_position2}<br /> <br /> </td><td width="52%"><p>{top}{leading} </p> </td> </tr> <tr valign="top"> <td colspan="2">{module_position3} </td> </tr> <tr valign="top"><td colspan="2"> <p>{featured sections}<br /> {featured categories} <br /> </p></td></tr></tbody></table>
