Are you suggesting there is more than one version of News Portal carrying the same version number (1.0.1)?

OK. I went ahead and uninstalled .24 and tried an upgrade to 1.0.1

The back end said success, but the front end was blank. My server logs show the error stream below. I then turned around and dropped back to .24

I have not installed iJoomla News Portal 1.0.1 at this time. As stated earlier, we reverted to .24 pending improvements. I am very reluctant to upgrade any further until I can see evidence that the software is fully functional and acceptably debugged.

I agree. The "important" bug fixes should be documented so we don't get stung again.

The bugs and performance issues were intolerable so we reverted to the previous version.

You don't see it because I gave up and rolled back from 1.0 to the earlier version. The new version is unstable and can't maintain proper rendering.

I will attempt to wait until the bugs are fixed.

What problems have you encountered with the new version? We have been thinking of a reversion 0.0.24 because of speed and formatting issues (especially image resizing).

Our site slowed down to an unacceptable level when we installed to Sidebars 1.0.8 upgrade with NiftyBox enabled. We tried unenabling the NiftyBox mambot abd remiving it altogether. The site was still too slow.

After hearing that there were server issues, we uninstalled 1.0.8 and reinstalled 1.0.7 until we could learn more.

Can you describe the server problem?

On one of our sites, we have the image resizing set to reduce the lead image from 135x135 to 100x100. However, the feature has resized every image that appears on the front page, wether the lead or not.

We did not see this happen before upgrading to the most recent version of News Portal.

Perhaps you should put in a support ticket.

Did you go to "Zone" and - for instance - "Heading", then set the "Show headings" drop-down to "No".

Have you checked the CSS?
