1  iJoomla Magazine / Suggestions/Ideas / Layout Controls on: November 05, 2007, 10:54:01 AM
Hello

While the layout options within iJoomla Magazine are good, there is still room for improvement.  For example, we use layout 9 on boy-fresh.com.  If you look at the site, you'll notice that we use small images for our first three features (they are within the horizontal zone).

What we'd really love to be able to do is have three small images at the top, then a bit of middle content with larger images but then but smaller images at the bottom again.

We tried this already but it just puts the image on top of the text (guess it would since they're in the vertical zone) - any chance of adding "custom" zones?

Just an idea...

James
2  iJoomla Magazine / Support Questions / Re: Moved Website to New Host - Big Issues on: November 05, 2007, 10:42:45 AM
Sounds like you just literally dumped your existing site to a backup and restored it on the new server?  Is that correct?  If yes, then you will run into all sorts of errors.  The best thing to do would be to either use a backup/cloner facility or re-inject the sql into your database onto a fresh Joomla installation - warning, if you do the latter you will need to ensure that you re-install all of your components/mambots and modules etc otherwise you may encounter further problems.

Depending on your host, if they support Joomla, then they might be able to give you further advice.

3  iJoomla Magazine / Support Questions / Re: How to remove "Powered by iJoomla Magazine"? on: November 01, 2007, 02:28:58 PM
Might be helpful Merav if you can make this sticky.  I'm sure other members will want to know the answer to this question again.

One other quick question, how come the previous posts weren't imported into the new forums?

Regards
James
