In the other forum within the iJoomla Digistore section I posted the directions on how to sync community builder with the digistore, and also how to get JomCom working in it.

Perhaps you can some how add these funtionality automatically in the future to digistore? Or, at least add the directions for doing so to your 'digistore manual' so that others can do it should they need to?

I won't lie...it was a touch rocky getting it set up...their help files need to be more detailed...and I was sad to realize/learn that it doesn't have and can't even integrate yet with commenting/rating systems such as JomCom...but...on the other hand... they even did some custom code changes on the registration page for me and it looks nice and clean...so all in all it's worth it even though it's missing some features currently (like reviews/ratings)...and I'm sure those kinds of features will be in the next upgrade (since they're so important) AND you do get free-upgrades for life...

So...now that it's set up I think it looks pretty nice indeed...

At the JomCom wiki page it lists the following information...can anybody here tell me what file and what line in that file in the digistore that I put this info so that I can have comments on my products in the digistore??

You can integrate Jom Comment with almost any 3rd party component, and it only takes 3 lines.

where

    * $uid: the unique id for the particular content
    * "com_whatever": the name of the component

I bought digistore two days ago. Installed, and my products were showing. Then today I did a test checkout using the 2CO plugin. All went fine.

But, as soon as the test checkout was done my products suddenly only show blank pages on the frontend. You click on the item in the category list, and nothing comes up now. I have no idea why! At the backend I changed nothing, and all show as published. I'm at a complete loss...but this is a serious issue as now none of my products are showing on my frontpage, which is bad, as current visitors and potential customers can't buy anything.

Please help!

Second problem: it's not listing all the products when a person is directed to the product list...it only shows one product at a time, which doesn't make sense. I want it to show as many as possible on the product list page, and since I currently have only 3 there is no reason why it shouldn't show all 3. I've looked through the information I have for this component, but can't seem to find out how to change this?  Also, the item descriptions are not showing on the product list either... Third problem: I can't seem to find any kind of rating and review system? I need to have customer reviews to help bring in more sales? How do I set that up?  There must be one, as there isn't any such things as a shopping catalog without reviews anymore...but I can't find it at the backend?  Then, how would I transfer the ratings and reviews I already have on these products over from Vituemart?

Fourth problem: is there no way to integrate the Community Builder and Digistore registrations? I can't have customers needing to register twice, this will annoy them...how do I synchronize that information? Does anyone know how to do this?

I'd dump the ever pain-in-the-arse Virtue Mart and pay for your DigiStore if only your DigiStore were compatible with Community Builder...as I can't use it until it is as I can't make my users go through two different registration processes...that could be said for FireForum or SMF too...

Perhaps you'll want to create bridges for people with these other components? It would allow me and others to buy your product...

jReviews is great...I've seen it in action, but haven't bought it specifically because it won't be going to JOOMLA 1.5, and also because the price is outrageous.

It would be great to get reviews added into the iJOOMLA magazine...

Hello,

I would like to suggest you get bridges and/or compatibility for community builder into all your products.  These days with the growing trend of community driven sites I know that all my sites have CB on them...and so I can't buy some of your products (some of which I would really like to have...such as the DigiStore) because it will be too much trouble to try and integrate it with CB at my site...

I wanted to know if community builder and the digi-store are compatible? What I mean is, I don't want my users to have to have separate registration processes, such as register at the digi-store to buy something, and register at my site to use the community options, blog and discussion forums. I want just one registration for all...

Currently with virtue mart I have that...but VM has a lot of other issues, and thus I was considering buying the digistore...but just need to know if there is a bridge for it and/or an option in it already that lets there be just one registration process between community builder and the store?
