iJoomla Ad Agency / Support Questions / Zones/Campaigns/Pricing Question

Ok, let's say I have two packages: Top Banner at $3 CPM and Right Skyscraper at $1 CPM (just for example).
An advertiser buys both packages, and uploads a banner and a skyscraper ad, which we then approve.
He makes two campaigns, one fot the sckyscraper and one for the banner. But what stops him from adding his banner ad to the skyscraper campaign, and running it in that campaign at the lower CPM?

iJoomla Ad Agency / Support Questions / Re: Ad Alignment Problem with Firefox

I solved the problem by adding a custom class to the site's CSS template (in my case named adzone), and then used the module suffix -adzone on the ad zone modules. You can then control them there.
For whatever reason I was getting this prob if the module name was NOT shown (obviously you'd want this), or if module decoration was off (suffix of -none).
Placing div tags around adsense code may or may not work...dunno...

iJoomla Ad Agency / Support Questions / Re: Relative Weighting

What if you have three banners, and out of 10 times you want A to display 6, B to display 4 and C to display 2?
I'm just wondering what the 100 and 50 mean. I get that it probably means A displays twice as often as B, but what about specific, finite control? What happens if you put two ads in with 100 weights, and one with 50?
Just wondering that kind of stuff...

I'm creating a short tutorial for my users to walk them through the steps of advertising on our site. Could someone please explain exactly how relative weighting works and provide some examples.
Thanks!

iJoomla Ad Agency / Support Questions / Admenu Module ONLY to Advertisers
|
on: March 02, 2008, 02:53:33 PM

Is there a way to show the Admenu module ONLY to advertisers? Currently it shows "Advertise on this site" and "Packages" to everyone, then the full admenu to logged-in advertisers.
I'd rather have the module show up only for advertisers, and have nothing show up to others. I want to use other links/graphics for people to sign up to become advertisers - not the admenu module.

iJoomla Ad Agency / Support Questions / Re: AdSense

Thanks Ricardo...
So let's say I have only 1 advertiser on my site at first. I want his ad to run only part of the time (so his impressions don't run out right away), and my own adsense to run the rest of the time.
Is that where the weighting comes in? I looked through the manual and didn't see weighting described.
Essentially, I'd like my ads to run 66% of the time, his to run 33% of the time.
This won't be an issue as more advertisers sign on, but I'm just anticiapting it as an issue when I first offer the service. We do over 100,000 page views/day, so someone's impressions would be used up very quickly if there are no other advertisers.
Thanks!

iJoomla Ad Agency / Support Questions / AdSense

Is it possible to use AdSense in conjunction with AdAgency? For instance, setup an AdSense space to run if all campaigns end or whatever?
