A quick fix is just to add a link to the style in the index.php of your template...

Code:
<link href="/components/com_magazine/layouts/css/YOUR_STYLE.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

For me the url link to the style is broken by upgrading to joomla 1.5.8... Looks like this
Code:
http://www.folkevett.no/%20http://www.folkevett.no/components/com_magazine/layouts/css/DigitalEther.css
3  iJoomla Magazine / Support Questions / Re: Changing html page title when magazine set as home page on: July 10, 2008, 03:06:37 AM
Changing the issue/mag name to get a good meta title for the frontpage doesn't really solve it as it wrecks the presentation of issues presentation component-wide in menus and so on... I hope the developers will look into the possibility to have custom meta info for the component set as home-page in a future release. I'll try to get around it somehow until then.

No, that is not it. Sry if I was unclear, but I mean the "browser" title above the browser menu. It's in the head of the document generated with the syntax <title></title> in the header of the page code, and end up in bookmarks, on minimized browser window buttons and so on... Now the issue title will actually show up as the title for the domain representing the site in search engines as well... That is quite lame... Is there a way to change this to joomlas head title perhaps? Or is it a setting I have missed  Wink

I don't want the name of the issue to be the page title (HTML page title) when the magazine component is set to be the default home page. I tried to search the code but couldn't find it... Where can I change this? (I use the latest version for J!1.5) It would would be logical to have a setting for this, as the issues title might be a bit misleading for the front page as a whole. Thanks.
6  iJoomla Magazine / Suggestions/Ideas / More zones pls on: January 24, 2008, 09:55:36 AM
I know it has been mentioned before, but... to be able to add more zones would be an excellent addition to the magazine component. Only 2 main "article" zones available is really limiting. What about a zone-generator tool?

(PS. Have anyone hacked additional article-zones into the component before?)
