I have been using iJoomla Magazine very successfully for the past year FTF Online magazine and decided to launch Volume Two with a new look i.e. using the new version with 1.5. Everything seems to be going fine BUT:
1. I was losing the list of articles in the back end but that seems fine with the latest version.
2. Using quotes in an article just gives a blank page - not the end of the world for me, since I have decided to use Xtypo instead.
3. However, one major problem which I have spent ages trying to sort out in case it is something I have done. The magazine has to be put together live as the team is spread all over Europe. Fine until now, it was just left as Special until preview time when everything was switched to Registered and then it goes Public on the day of the launch. Only I have access to the back end, the others are either Authors, Editors or Registered on the front end.
The new version allows editing the articles on the front end since they appear in the menu when you are logged in, but nobody including me can access the "front page" of each issue unless it is set to Public.
To cut a long story short, when logged in and try to see the magazine issue, all I get is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mosnotauth() in /home/caoneill/public_html/FTFmagazine/components/com_magazine/magazine.html.php on line 362
I am also having trouble with using the new sidebars too, but I think it is related to the access problems.
Is this a known problem and is there a solution please???
