1  iJoomla News Portal / Support Questions / Re: where are all articles ? on: January 19, 2008, 04:50:09 AM
I need to do something similar to this as well. How did you set it up to break at 50 items per page, and then include the "next page" etc. on the bottom?
I hear that this feature will be in next version of "iJoomla News Portal"
2  iJoomla News Portal / Support Questions / Order by date on: January 16, 2008, 07:13:35 AM
In the backend (in iJoomla component admin), when I click on the "Contents" where are all articles, I want to see articles ordered by date.
How can I do that ?
I mean, the last article published will be the first on the list, and so on...
See article: http://demo.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/19/32/
This article explains how can I do this on the joomla contents manager!
And it works very fine!
But I want the same ordering either into iJoomla component "content manager".

Are you kidding Huh
I have many articles on my news portal and the number of them it increasing everyday. I cannot and I don't want to display the front page page with 100 articles.
I need an archiving solution, a link to a table list of the rest of the articles from that category.
If this feature isn't implemented, I hope that in the future version will be!
I cannot spend a lot of money for an incomplete software. These feature is a must !
4  iJoomla News Portal / Report Bugs / "read more" alignment on: December 27, 2007, 08:49:21 AM
Everytime I make changes on a zone (font type, size, border or anything else), after saving those changes, the "read more" text has changed alignment to the left!

9  iJoomla News Portal / Support Questions / Re: ioncube error on: December 04, 2007, 12:14:13 AM
To resolve this:
in the root of the website create a directory "ioncube"
place the loader file there.
then in your php.ini file, add the line:
zend_extension_ts = "path to website/ioncube/loaderfilename.dll"

make sure that you only have ONE zend_extension_ts entry in the php.ini file.
then restart your webserver.
your component should then be accessible.
Thank you ! I will try soon.
In fact this error it happens only on localhost ! On the production server, the installation it was without errors !

I follow instructions and after click on the link that says "run-time loading installation instructions" it says :

"Results
Your PHP install appears to have threading support and run-time Loading is only possible on threaded web servers if using the CGI, FastCGI or CLI interface.
Instructions
To run encoded files please install the Loader in the php.ini file."

How can I resolve this ?

Q1. I have installed on the localhost and it compares an error:
The file C:\Programmi\xampp\htdocs\mysite\administrator\components\com_news_portal\admin.news_portal.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll ionCube PHP Loader to be installed.

Q2. I cannot open a ticket because the email/pass doesn't work !
